Reclaiming a Christianity of Justice, Mercy, and a New Creation.
Welcome to Truth and Way Ministries.
We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ is not an escape from the world, but God’s transforming hope within it. The good news calls us to faithful presence, courageous love, and active hope here and now.
In a time when Christianity is often entangled with power, nationalism, and fear, we choose another way. We follow the cross-shaped path of Christ—a way marked by humility, resistance to injustice, and solidarity with those who suffer. We stand against empire in all its forms, and we stand with the marginalized, the forgotten, and the oppressed.
Rooted in a hope-filled, Christ-centered theology, Truth and Way offers teaching, resources, and community for those seeking a faith shaped by grace rather than domination. We believe Christianity is at its truest not when it seeks control, but when it bears witness to God’s liberating love.

For many today, the word Christianity has become confusing, painful, or even dangerous. Too often it is associated with coercion, exclusion, or political power rather than with Christ himself.
We believe this distortion has deep historical roots. When the church aligned itself with empire, Christianity began to mirror imperial values—prioritizing control, hierarchy, and certainty over hope, humility, and love. Over time, this shift reshaped theology, politics, and culture alike. Yet the gospel has never belonged to empire. Jesus proclaimed good news to the poor, freedom to the captive, healing to the broken, and judgment on systems that crush human dignity. His life and cross reveal a God who stands with the vulnerable and calls the church into faithful resistance. Truth and Way exists to help recover this vision—not by returning to the past, but by embracing a living, cross-shaped Christianity grounded in hope. We seek to name and resist imperial Christianity wherever it appears, and to bear witness to a faith that truly looks like Christ. Because when theology goes wrong, lives are harmed. And when Christ is centered again, hope becomes possible. MEMBER:The Karl Barth Society, Princeton Theological Seminary
